MAF Virtual Reality Incursion (Schools)

The MAF Virtual Reality Incursion for Schools provides a fun and engaging opportunity for students to understand the work of missions and the variety of vocations that MAF Missionaries hold. During the incursion, each student will be given the opportunity to experience what it would be like to be medevacked from a remote village in Papua New Guinea.
Despite significant interruptions to schools in the past 2 years, to date, hundreds of students from the schools listed below have had the opportunity to experience the fun of the MAF Virtual Reality Incursion. Check out some photos below from previous incursions that our team has held in schools.

Australian Christian College
During a visit by MAF to the Australian Christian College in Sydney, the students really enjoyed getting to know about the work of MAF and loved the virtual reality (VR) experience of being medevacked from a remote village in Papua New Guinea. As part of the VR incursion the students where challenged to make a plane, runway and radio tower out of Lego. Some great pieces of work were created.
Green Point Christian College
As part of the MAF VR Incursion students get the opportunity to build out of Lego, a runway, a radio tower and a plane. Students have fun working in teams to come up with their creations. These are some of the Green Point Christian College Year 8 student’s creations.
