"I love flying with MAF every week and during the flights I always love talking to the pilots and seeing all the views from the plane… and also seeing different places and knowing different students from each homeland. In Garrthalala, I always love to work with teachers and do work experiences during school. That’s the important thing to do, go to school every day, be positive and stay strong."
– Yalanba Mununggurr, Laynhapuy Homelands Schools Student
Bring education within reach for students in Arnhem Land, and leave a legacy that will last for generations.

Access to school is a challenge for the Yolngu people.
In Arnhem Land, the trip to school takes 12 hours by road through dense bushland. But on a MAF flight it can be just 30 minutes.
We have a unique opportunity to serve First Nations communities in Arnhem Land by flying high school students to take part in “SHEP”, a program created so students can complete their education in their traditional homeland environment.
Education flights are an essential operating service - without them - the distance to access school is just too great.
